Went looking for booties and found these cuties - Dolce Vita for Target
I was on my way to Century 21 for some booties and got sidetracked in Target. I swore off of Target shoes but could not help myself. Every year Target comes out with a kick butt pair of sandals and every year I say to myself that I just can't do it, and I walk away with them anyhow. These were only $29.99!! I am not even embarrassed to say that, and it actually felt pretty good not feeling guilty about spending more money on another pair of shoes that will grace the shelf. These will get me through the spring, summer, and early fall. Can't wait to hit the runway (of my life) in these.

With all of the talk about 70's style for the spring, one image came to my mind - Pam Grier. It is not often that we see her without the badass superhero persona. I love this softer side of Pam and will definitely sport my bell bottoms and buffalo sandals to boot. Meanwhile, much of Derek Lam's spring collection is on my wish list including this throw back updated version of Pam's softer side. So simple, chic and easy to wear even while dropping the kids off at school and making those Trader Joe's runs.

What I Want Now
This photo of one of my all time favorites, Ms. Lauren Hutton, is so classic and timeless. I need the coat for the balmy white winter we are having and I need the clutch - just because. She looks amazing and effortlessly chic as usually.
