Vlisco Beauties

I came across these images while surfing for African prints to frame and hang on my wall. They are from a company named Vlisco which designs and produces textiles. They are the most amazing shots I have seen in a while. Simply gorgeous. You can't buy this kind of beauty. I am so inspired!!!!

New Inspiration

I know it has been a while, but I really do miss Domino Magazine. Oh the inspiration! I have almost every issue packed away, not to be touched by anyone. However, since then, I have found comfort and joy in Elle Decor which has become my new obsession. The monthly Shortlist spotlight is my current favorite part of the book. One of my favorites from this year highlighted the fabulous Thelma Golden from the Studio Museum in Harlem. Love her!

Something new to love

This past week in the midst of recovering from Thanksgiving and getting ready for the next holiday season - which I love - I came across something new for me to love. The Lucky Endora wedge bootie in french roast beckoned me across the room and I gave in. I was supposed to be looking for gifts for my kids, but could not help it. I will wear these with almost everything. Comfy and cute!

A New Home

I found a new web host and I like it a lot. My site is still a work in progress - trying to get my web address right. I finally shot some photos that I am okay with and uploaded them. As TracyChambers grows I will be able to hire someone to do a really professional site. Until then, we have to work with what we got!

Shop in progress II

Can we say re-organization? This journey is twisting and turning. Have to take a step backwards to leap two steps forward. In the process of redoing website. Oh the life of a mom-preneur! I thought I could work with my three kids in tow all summer. Gotta rethink that one - a bit ambitious much?

The Great Escape
